Located on Ocean Boulevard, the owner requested an infusion of quirky and eccentric finishes and furniture. Once a parking garage, existing concrete pillars gave us a bit of a challenge in layout. The color palette is a daring placement of color and bold graphics. Inspired by the whimsical black and white “doodle” style graphic placed on the elevator wall, coloring books were made and are provided for guest’s children when checking in. A photo booth mimicking a 1960s TV that guests stand behind has proven to be a big hit among guests of all ages. A room divider made from bike wheels, a collection of used paint cans, funky window planters, bold peeling paint ceiling graphics, seat belt chairs, and modern curvy seating are just a few of the fun finishes you’ll find in this one-of-a-kind hotel lobby.
